Louis van Gaal says that he is unclear on the future of Angel Di Maria, but the Argentine winger is set to join up with the Manchester United squad during their pre-season tour of the US on 25 July.

The Argentine winger, who joined last summer for a British-record £59.7m, has been linked with a £43m move to PSG this summer.

Di Maria struggled at Old Trafford after a bright start to his career in England, failing to make it into Louis van Gaal's starting XI in the final three months of the season.

"We shall see," he said when asked whether Di Maria would stay.

"In football, it is a process. It's a process for Di Maria and Man Utd. We shall see.

"But he is still a member of United and he said he will come out on July 25."

United face Club America on 18 July followed by matches against San Jose Earthquakes, Barcelona, and then Di Maria's suitors PSG on 30 July in Chicago.
