Within hours of signing for Liverpool, Mario Balotelli found himself the centre of attention.

The Italian, who is has completed a £16m transfer from AC Milan to Anfield, was in attendance for the Premier League meeting between his new team and Manchester City.

Balotelli was given a seat in the Director's Box for the Premier League match featuring his new and former sides.

The striker sat next to Adam Lallana, another Liverpool summer signing, who is currently out injured.

The Italian was a favourite among Manchester City fans during his three year spell at the club - although it was a relationship that was often tested. Balotelli regularly found himself facing on and off field disciplinary problems and was rarely out of the headlines.
