Manchester City vs West Ham team news: Frank Lampard starts against former side
A look ahead to today's match at the Etihad
Frank Lampard starts against his former side as Manuel Pellegrini looks to get back to winning ways following a humiliating 4-2 loss to Manchester United last weekend.
Manchester City midfielder James Milner is out, which makes room for the former England international for the visit of West Ham, who he played for at the start of his career until 2001.
As expected, Vincent Kompany is out, as is Gael Clichy and Fernandinho - in come Eliaquim Mangala, Aleksandar Kolarov and Fernando.
Sergio Aguero leads the attack for the home side at the Etihad Stadium as Pellegrini's side look to extend their four point lead over Liverpool in fifth place.
Hammers manager Sam Allardyce makes one change for West Ham as Carlton Cole comes in Diafra Sakho, who recently picked up a thigh strain that could see him miss the rest of the season.
