Manchester United forward Memphis Depay has claimed that his poor form this season is not down to too many nights on the tiles, saying that he has had only one night out since he moved to United last summer.

The 21-year-old has scored just three goals in 17 appearances for Louis van Gaal's side this term, following his move from PSV Eindhoven.

"The funny thing is that since I came to England I've only been out one time," Depay told Algemeen Dagblad. "One time!

"But recently I read that Ryan Giggs had approached me about my reputation as a party boy and stuff. Total nonsense! Completely made up!"

The Dutchman added in an interview with MUTV: "Not winning the last six games for a club like us is disappointing.

"We're not used to not winning games, everyone in the dressing room is a winner and we want to get back to winning ways. That's what we're trying to do.

"Obviously everyone is disappointed with the last few games but I've always said the team spirit we have is fantastic.

"There are always smiles on faces and all of us want to put things right and that's the way it has to be. There is no player who doesn't want to go out there and win.

"Everyone has that winning mentality and wants to turn things around, and that's what everyone will be looking to do in the next game."
