Diego Costa will not play for Chelsea against Manchester United in this afternoon's crucial Premier League fixture, with Didier Drogba taking his place up front.
In addition, Radamel Falcao is not in the United squad. He suffered an injury in training this week.
Blues manager Jose Mourinho said this week that Costa had a "little chance" of featuring after picking up a hamstring injury. The Spain international last figured against Luxembourg for Spain on 12 October.
Spanish full-back Cesar Azpilicueta starts his three-match ban after receiving a straight red card against Crystal Palace last week, meaning Luis starts.
