Manchester City continued their dream start to the 2016/17 season as they beat rivals United 2-1 in their own back yard.

The two sides clashed at Old Trafford in a thrilling derby with both teams enjoying their fair share of chances – but it was City who deservedly walked away with the three points.

Kevin de Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho gave Pep Guardiola’s side a 2-0 lead before Zlatan Ibrahimovic dragged one back before the half-time break.

Although City were able to hold on throughout the second half, it certainly came at a cost for defender Aleksandar Kolarov.

The Serbian left the pitch with a smile on his face but a notable gap in his front teeth.

City ‘keeper Willy Caballero shared a photo of the Serbian’s new-look smile with the caption: “Amazing game 2-1 against United at Old Trafford #cmoncity.

“In this picture with one of my warriors. Can you find the only thing he lost today.”

How and when Kolarov lost his tooth remains unclear, but suspicions will be certainly raised against Marouane Fellaini.

The Belgian’s elbows were in action once again as he clashed with the Serbian defender during the 52nd minute and the midfielder was subsequently shown a customary yellow card by referee Mark Clattenburg.

The evidence isn't definitive but where there's trouble, Marouane Fellaini is never far behind.
