Memphis Depay jetted to Rotterdam immediately after Manchester United's defeat to Sunderland to celebrate his 22nd birthday.
The £25m summer signing, whose poor form this season has been criticised, came on as a 62nd minute substitute at the Stadium of Light with the scores level at 1-1. However, the Dutchman's introduction failed to have the desired effect and Manchester United eventually lost the match 2-1.
The result dealt a huge blow to Manchester United's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season, with the club remaining six points behind the top four teams having played a game more.
Depay appeared to put the result to the back of his mind so he could celebrate turning 22-years-old. Wearing white trousers and a garish pink jacket, the former PSV Eindhoven player was filmed dancing at a packed party as a huge birthday cake was delivered to him.
A friend posted the video on Instagram along with a message that read: "Celebrating my bro @memphisdepay bday in #rotterdam happy bday!"
