Mo Farah has revealed that he wanted his newborn son to have the word 'Arsenal' as his middle name - but wife Tania prevented it.

The double Olympic gold medal winner and five-time World Champion is a massive fan of the Gunners and was in attendance for Arsenal's 1-1 draw with bitter rivals Tottenham on Sunday.

Despite living close to Nike's training base in the US town of Portland, Farah often attends games when his schedule allows.

Farah, 32, revealed to Hello! magazine that his newborn is named Hussein Mo Farah.

But he joked: "I wanted Arsenal to be Hussein's middle name, but Tania wasn't having it."
