Newcastle welcome Crystal Palace to St James’ Park in the Premier League this evening as both sides look to build upon wins in their last outings in the top flight.

Newcastle had lost five straight in the division before upsetting Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park on Saturday thanks to a Callum Wilson double, while Palace earned a 1-0 home victory over Wolves on the same day to regain some momentum of their own after a tepid run.

Eberechi Eze was the goalscorer for Roy Hodgson’s side in that Palace win, and Eagles fans will hope the exciting young midfielder can be central to another big result here.

But Newcastle will be buoyed by their impressive victory against Everton, and Magpies fans will hope Wilson’s fine brace last time out sets up another match-winning performance on home turf tonight.
