The ongoing saga over Pep Guardiola's future availability has taken another twist with reports in Germany now stating that the Bayern coach loves living in Munich.

The former Barcelona coach has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City at the end of the season, when his three-year contract with the Bundesliga club expires. With Guardiola yet to sign an extension and a desire to manage in the Premier League, he has been heavily linked with replacing Manuel Pellegrini.

But according to German newspaper Bild, Guardiola and his family are happy and settled in the south German city.

"The town is crazy. I love it. I am very satisfied, my family too," Guardiola is reported to have said at a fan event.

"Yes, it would be a big reason [for him to stay at the club].

"We will speak after the Hannover clash (December 12) and come to the right decision for me and the club."

Last week Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said that he believes the club would have no problem in replacing Guardiola if he were to leave the club.

"No one is irreplaceable. Players come and go and it is the same for coaches," Rummenigge said. "The coaches come in and at some point they leave. If Guardiola leaves another exceptional coach will come in."
