Aston Villa and Southampton are set to play each other this Monday at Villa Park. The last time they played against each other was April this year, when they drew. This time around both teams are struggling with injuries. Aston Villa’s defender, Philippe Senderos is out for a month with a calf injury. Ron Vlaar who has a calf injury and Nathan Baker who is suffering from a knee injury are also out for Villa. Southampton’s Dusan Tadic and Morgan Schneiderlin could also be out.

Hopefully these injuries will not affect Southampton’s winning streak. Currently they stand second in the Premier League Table only needing 5 points to be top, compared to Villa (who are fifth from bottom). In their last eight Premier League visits to Villa Park Southampton have kept five clean sheets.
