Sergio Aguero has announced he will quit Manchester City in 2019. Aguero, who has scored 116 goals in just over four brilliant years at the Etihad, will be 31 when his current contract expires and he has no interest in extending it beyond that.

Paul Pogba is again the talk of the town after telling photographers "I love Manchester". The Juventus midfielder, who has been linked with a return to Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea in recent windows, was back in the North West to visit Wing's a Chinese restaurant popular with footballers - and Louis van Gaal's favourite. Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has insisted that Pogba will not be leaving the Italian giants in January but will be discussing his future in the summer.

With Santi Cazorla joining Francis Coquelin (and a number of others) on the over-burdened Arsenal treatment table, Lars Bender is now on a shortlist of January targets for Arsene Wenger, according to the Evening Standard. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, 26, has been linked with the Gunners in the past and would be a high-quality addition to the north London club. A rather fanciful piece from the Daily Star sees Chelsea linked with a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the PSG star who is out of contract at the end of the season. The controversial Swede has hinted that he may move away from the Paris club next summer and is already flirting with a number of options. A return to former clubs AC Milan or Malmo seem possible, while David Beckham is said to want him for his new MLS franchise in Miami. Jose Mourinho has a great relationship having worked with Ibrahimovich at Inter.

Still on Chelsea and there is a chance that vice-captain Branislav Ivanovic could leave the Blues, with Inter Milan said to be interested in the Serbian right-back, according to ESPN. Ivanovic is also out of contract at the end of the season and no extension has been discussed yet, with the defender having his worst campaign in years and only recently coming back from injury.

Premier League man of the moment Jamie Vardy is likely to be offered a new contract by Leicester to warn off potential suitors, according to ESPN. The Foxes striker scored in a record 11th consevutive game at the weekend.
