Stoke will hope a victory against Swansea can spur on their faint hopes of an astonishing top four finish, with the Potters just five points behind fourth-placed Manchester City having played a game more, while Swansea will be looking to move clear of the relegation battle at the bottom.

  • Jack Butland to miss rest of the season after fracturing ankle on international duty
  • Jonathan Walters also ruled out after operation on knee cartilage injury
  • Geoff Cameron and Glenn Whelan face late fitness tests, but Erick Pieters should play
  • Xherdan Shaqiri, Ryan Shawcross, Marc Wilson and Glen Johnson miss out
  • Andre Ayew has not recovered from an ankle injury
