Tottenham have denied recent reports that defender Toby Alderweireld has a £25m release clause in his contract.
Hitting back at claims made by Football Leaks, the club have rubbished rumours that the defender is available at a cut-price cost and are adamant that he is happy under the management of Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs added that none of their players currently have release clauses.
Belgian publication Le Soir also exposed details about how much money the defender really makes at White Hart Lane,
The 27-year-old is rumoured to earn £2.61m a year, with £5,000 appearance fees and the potential for a £261,000 bonus.
Alderweireld has been out for seven-and-a-half weeks with a knee injury but is in line to feature in tomorrow night’s Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow.
A successful return to the Spurs side could see the Belgian start against Manchester United on Saturday as Spurs bid to get their Premier League campaign back on track.
