Wojciech Szczesny faces competition
Saturday 29 September 2012
Arsène Wenger has told Wojciech Szczesny there is real competition for his place after Vito Mannone's good run in goal. The Italian will play for Arsenal against Chelsea today.
"I think you can never rule that out," Wenger said of the chance of Mannone usurping Szczesny. "It is down to performances. We are in a job where the hierarchy is not set forever. [Szczesny] has still the No 1 shirt. It is up to the others to win it... there is competition."
