Arsenal have been linked with a deadline day loan move for Russian striker Aleksandr Kokorin.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsene Wenger - who has been seen in France - and Arsenal are "exploring a loan switch" for the Dynamo Moscow striker, who has two goals in three matches this season.

They report that talks have taken place over a loan move for the 24-year-old, which could turn into a permanent one.

Kokorin, who has eight goals in 32 appearances for the national team, has scored two goals in three matches this season, although he was sent off in his last match.

He scored 10 goals in each of the last two seasons and has his best campaign in 2012-13, when he scored 13.

Kokorin has 48 goals in 144 matches overall for Dynamo - he also spent a month at Anzi Makhachkala without ever playing for the club, after changes to the board saw him and the entire squad put up for sale and sold in July 2013.

Arsenal are linked with numerous strikers as Wenger seeks more firepower.
