Manchester United have completed the signing of Anthony Martial from Monaco for a reported £36m.

The 19-year-old forward will complete his £36m move from Monaco before this evening's deadline. Martial's move makes him the second most expensive teenager ever, trailing only Lucas Moura who moved to Paris Saint-Germain for £44m in 2012.

The French forward says he is "excited" to sign for the Premier League side, while manager Louis van Gaal says has "great potential",

"I'm so excited to join United," says Martial. "I've always wanted to play in the Premier League and look forward to meeting my team-mates.

Van Gaal said: "Anthony is a talented young forward with great potential. I believe this is the club for him to continue his development."
