Arsenal have made two changes to the side which defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 at the weekend for the Champions League qualifier against Besiktas in Turkey, Olivier Giroud comes in for Yaya Sanogo up front, and Nacho Monreal replaces Kieran Gibbs at left-back.

The left-back Gibbs has been ruled put for three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the win over Palace.

Former Chelsea striker Demba Ba starts up front for Besiktas.

The Gunners have won all 12 of their previous Champions League qualifying ties.
