Adrien Rabiot: Chelsea 'make £7 million offer' for PSG starlet
The 19-year-old has turned down a new contract at Parc des Princes, alerting several clubs across Europe to his availability.
Chelsea have made a £7 million bid for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to reports.
The France Under-21 international has enjoyed a breakthrough season with the Ligue 1 champions last season, making 25 appearances and scoring two goals for the French giants.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc is said to rate Rabiot very highly and as a result, the club's hierarchy offered him a long-term contract to ward off interest from interested clubs.
According to The Metro, the promising midfielder has reportedly turned down a 'giant' new contract after becoming frustrated at the lack of playing time at the Parisian club, and could leave the club when his contract expires next summer.

But Chelsea are determined to make their move early after failing with their initial attempt in January when Rabiot picked up an injury. Rabiot impressed at the Toulon tournament earlier this summer, and his performances would only have encouraged the Blues to follow up their interest.
It is also rumoured that Arsenal are interested in acquiring the central midfielder, but the PSG academy graduate is said to favour a move to Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho has already made four signings this summer, with Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa, Kurt Zouma and Mario Pasalic joining the West London outfit.
