Daniel Agger transfer latest: Arsenal joined by Atletico Madrid among those interested in Liverpool defender
The centre-back's future could lie away from Anfield
The future of Daniel Agger continues to come under speculation, with Atletico Madrid the latest side to be linked with the Liverpool player.
The centre-back has reportedly told Reds manager Brendan Rodgers he is keen to move on, particularly following the arrival of Dejan Lovren from Southampton. Agger was not in the team for the weekend win over Southampton, however that absence was due to a knee injury.
The 29-year-old must currently compete with Lovren, Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho for a place in the side.
