Liverpool are weighing up a £30m January bid for Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain, according to reports.
The Argentinian striker is reportedly unsettled in Italy, with suggestions Napoli are already working on a deal for his replacement, Colombian striker Jackson Martinez, who plays for Porto.
Higuain moved to Napoli for £31m from Real Madrid in 2013, but has failed to impress former Reds manager Rafa Benitez this season, scoring only one goal in six appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal had been interested in Higuain before he made the move to Serie A last year.
Napoli currently sit eighth in Serie A, with seven points from their five league matches.
