Barcelona forward Cristian Tello has rejected any interest from Liverpool saying he has no intention of seeking a move away from Barcelona and that he is determined to spend many more years with the Catalan giants.

Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers was reportedly very keen on the 20-year-old as his ability to play up-front and out-wide made him an ideal solution to Liverpool’s well documented attacking problems.

Tello, however, is reluctant to walk away from a side that has been labeled one of the best club sides of all time.

Last season, his first as part of the first-team squad, showed much promise and on the basis of his displays he has every right to believe his future lies at Barcelona.

"I still have a deal with Barca and I intend to spend many more years at this club," said Tello.

"I am convinced that this is the right place for me and that I wouldn't be happy at another club."
