Premier League transfer round-up: Latest deals from the January window

Real Madrid will make a summer move for Liverpool FC’s Mohamed Salah according to the Egyptian’s national team manager and the country’s football association president.

Salah only joined Liverpool this summer but has been the signing of the season, scoring 18 goals in 22 Premier League games this season, and has apparently attracted the gaze of the La Liga giants.

Real’s president Florentino Perez is keen to refresh their attacking front, who have so far disappointed this season after leading the club to back-to-back Champions League titles.

And Egyptian football chief Hany Abo Rida confirmed that the Spaniards would make an offer for Salah and was backed up by head coach Hector Cuper as well.

“There is a real chance he could play for Real Madrid next year,” he said. “The Spaniard will make an offer for him.

“Salah is now looking to improve his game. Obviously if an Egyptian plays for a club as popular around the world as Real Madrid, it’s going to be great for Egyptian football.

“It’s is going to be magnificent for Egyptian football.”

Egypt’s Argentinian coach Cuper seemingly confirmed the approach by adding: “I’ve received news revealing Real’s interest, but let’s not rush things.”
