Nabil Fekir has refused to rule out a move to Liverpool this summer after insisting he will let “destiny” decide his next move.

Reports emerged from France last week that a deal had been agreed between Liverpool and Lyon for the forward but both clubs distanced themselves from the rumours.

Fekir has scored 20 goals to help push Lyon towards Champions League qualification having filled the void left by Alexandre Lacazette’s move to Arsenal last summer but revealed that the Ligue 1 side will not stand in his way if he wants to leave.

“The president (Jean-Michel Aulas) told me, like he told everyone else when they signed their contracts, that we have the possibility to talk whenever I want to leave,” Fekir told L'Equipe.

“Nobody signs for life in a club. It doesn't work like that. But I don't have a free pass to leave. I have a contract until 2020. I'll let destiny handle the rest.

“I'm in Lyon for two more games and then we'll see. For now, there's nothing. The president trusts me and I feel good at Lyon.”
