Transfer deadline day January 2019: The five biggest moves

Thomas Meunier is open to a move to the Premier League amid reported interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.

The Paris Saint-Germain defender, who has one year remaining on his contract, has fallen down the pecking order in the French capital and has been linked with a move away.

Both United and the Gunners are in the market for right-backs this summer with Antonio Valencia and Stefan Lichtsteiner leaving their respective clubs at the end of their contracts.

Belgian international Meunier isn't likely to command a huge fee and could leave for free at the end of next season.

"It's something that could suit me," he said when asked whether he'd consider running his deal down at the Parc des Princes, much like teammate Adrien Rabiot has done this year.

"I don't think the club would make a lot of money from me, actually. I have a market value, but I'm a defender, I play one game out of three and I'm turning 28.

"It's not like Adrien, who is worth €50m."

Meunier is likely to command plenty of interest and indeed claims to already have interested parties make contact with him.

"There have been phone calls since January with interested clubs.

"There are a dozen clubs, all of which are in the top five of their leagues."
