Manchester United are set for a busy January transfer window as the club expects to receive offers for as many as 10 first-team players.

Jose Mourinho has neglected using a number of his players so far this season, many of whom were bought in for fairly large transfer fees under his predecessors.

Mourinho has a squad of 27 first-team players, including three goalkeepers, but is looking to trim it down as he prefers to work with a smaller group.

This has alerted a plethora of clubs both domestically and from across Europe, who are looking to make improvements to their squads in the new year.

Everton are likely to make a move for winger Memphis Depay, while Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneiderlin, Ashley Young and third-choice goalkeeper Sam Johnstone are all the subject of interest, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Marcos Rojo, who has impressed while filling in for Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly in central defence, could also leave.

The newspaper also report there is interest in Daley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and even Anthony Martial, who has struggled this season, although it is unlikely Mourinho will allow any of the trio to leave.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is the only player United are actively looking to sell, despite the German World Cup winner set to make his first appearance of the season against West Ham in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
