Marcos Rojo again has Manchester United fans dreaming of a big summer move after responding to a fan on social media.

Over the weekend, United fans were delighted to see Rojo 'favourite' a Tweet that suggested the club should 'tap up' Valencia defender - and Argentina team-mate - Nicolas Otamendi.

The defender did the same again on Monday night.

Twitter user @DB_17_ posted a picture of Otamendi and Rojo playing together for the Albiceleste and asked him "United next season Marcos?", to which Rojo again favourited.

Louis van Gaal has been linked with the Valencia man since January, after he enjoyed an extremely impressive season in La Liga.

United struggled in the centre of defence last term, with Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett all playing in the position at certain points.

Van Gaal has made central defence one of his top priorities during the summer window, with the club reportedly prepared to pay upwards of £30million for a new centre-back.

'Favouriting' a Tweet doesn't actually mean anything, but Rojo could well be telling Otamendi what it's like to live in Manchester and play under Van Gaal.
