Arsenal have received a major boost in their quest to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, with the Czech Republic international admitting that he wants to stay in London because his family are settled in the capital.

The 33-year-old says has revealed that will have a meeting with Chelsea next week, and is considering all offers, but says it would be easier to stay in London.

“I will decide based on what for me and my family was the best and it does not matter whether it is England, Germany, France and Spain,” he said.

“Next week we will have a meeting with Chelsea when the situation is clearer and all the cards are on the table. If I move, it brings difficulties. I must change everything, looking for housing, a school for children and so on.”

Cech has one year remaining on his contract, with the Blues hoping to get at least £10m for his services.
