Old rivals Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly set to go head-to-head once more as they try and prise 14-year-old teenage sensation Tom Dele-Bashiru away from Manchester City.

One of the most promising players in England, Dele-Bashiru has attracted interest from across the country before but remained loyal to City.

According to Sky Sports, the player's father Bandele Bashiru claims he has been contacted by a number of the Premier League's biggest clubs concerning his son's availability, but insists the starlet is happy with his current situation.

"I have been contacted by a number of clubs and agents to ask about my son's situation at Manchester City," Bashiru said.

"It is flattering that other clubs are interested in Tom.

"We are no rush to make a decision on his future as it is important we make the right decision so that he can continue his development."
