Manchester United have been told it will cost them at least £25m if they want to land Monaco defender Fabinho. The Premier League side have been tracking the Brazilian in recent weeks, claim TalkSport.

Although Monaco are under no pressure to sell, £25m could be enough to bring the player dubbed the "new Dani Alves" by the French media to Old Trafford.

Claudio Ranieri is weighing up a club-record £25m bid to bring Steven Nzonzi to the King Power Stadium, writes the Telegraph.

Ranieri has identified the Sevilla midfield as a potential signing before the transfer window closes after being alerted that Nzonzi wants to return to England.

Despite the player’s huge buy-out clause, the move has allegedly been backed by Leicester’s owners as they prepare for the Champions League.

Tottenham are considering a move for Manchester City’s Eliaquim Managala ahead of Wednesday’s transfer deadline, according to reports from ESPN.

Mangala has not featured in any of City’s match-day squads under Pep Guardiola and has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium as a result.

While Napoli have expressed interest in the player on a loan basis, it’s unclear if Tottenham would seek a similar deal for the defender or whether they would look to bring Mangala to White Hart Lane on a permanent transfer.

The club are also allegedly attempting to prise Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace with a £15m offer. According to the Daily Mail, Zaha has directly requested to leave Palace amid interest from Spurs but is currently waiting for the Londoners to lodge a bid.

Elsewhere, Joe Hart has now turned to Liverpool as he looks to get his career back on track having been snubbed at Manchester City by Guardiola. Reports from the Sun suggest that Hart is willing to take a huge pay cut to tempt the Merseyside club to make a bid for him.

The England international is desperately seeking an exit route but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has so far shown no interest in offering the 29-year-old an offer.

It’s good news for West Ham meanwhile. The club have agreed personal terms with Juventus’ Simone Zaza who is set to fly to England on Friday for his medical.

The Hammers have sought the Italian for much of summer and have finally landed their man in a deal believed to be worth in the region of £24m, according to the Guardian.

“I don’t know the details, but we were in talks and it was quite close,” West Ham manager Slaven Bilic said on Thursday. “I would love it to happen.”
