The story: Harry Redknapp HAS to buy footballers on transfer deadline day. He could be ready to forgive Bentley for tipping a bucket of water on his head by taking him to QPR.

Club: Stoke

Possible move to: Aston Villa

Time left on deal: Paul Lambert desperately needs to add something to his struggling squad and Jones could be a possible option in a swap deal with Stoke keen on Villa forward Darren Bent.

Player: Tom Huddlestone

Club: Spurs

Possible move to: Fulham

Time left on deal: 18 month

The story: Huddlestone is eager to push on and get back into the England squad. He might have to leave Spurs to get it.

Possible move to: Wigan

The story: Roberto Martinez wants to add a new dimension to his side in their annual battle to avoid the drop and McGeady is ready to return back to the UK.

Club: Birmingham

Possible move to: Stoke

Time left on deal: 18 months

The story: Stoke face a fight to hold on to Asmir Begovic in the summer and know they can land a bargain in Butland with Birmingham needing to sell
