Harry Kane goal, Tunisia vs England World Cup 2018: Watch Tottenham forward score on tournament debut
It only took Kane 10 minutes to score his first World Cup goal
It took Harry Kane just 11 minutes to mark his first ever World Cup appearance with a goal as England raced into an early lead against Tunisia.
The England captain had never previously played at a World Cup finals, having only played at one major international tournament before.
But Kane did not take long to make his mark, stabbing home a rebound to give Gareth Southgate’s side an early lead.
From a corner John Stones went close with a powerful header which Tunisia goalkeeper Mouez Hassen did fantastically well to save.
But Kane was on hand to slot home the rebound as England began their World Cup campaign in style.
Things then got worse for Tunisia as an injured Hassen was replaced with a shoulder injury.
He was replaced by substitute goalkeeper Farouk Ben Mustapha as Tunisia attempted to work their way back into the game.
