In what has been one of the most memorable World Cup's in recent memory - for right and wrong reasons - a number of players have stood out and shone on the international stage.

As expected, finalists Germany and Argentina have a number of players in the best XI, ahead of their showdown on Sunday to decide who will win the 2014 World Cup.
