Following the abandonment of Kempton yesterday, Champion Hurdle possible River North must wait until Saturday week to make his hurdles debut.

Peter Savill's five-year-old, a Group 1 winner on the Flat in Germany last year, will now use the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown as a possible stepping- stone to Cheltenham in March.

Jodami, due to run in yesterday's Rowland Meyrick Chase at Wetherby (also called off), may run next in the Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock on 20 January.
