Netball: England hold on for opening match win at Tri-Series tournament

England got their Tri-Series campaign off to an excellent start with a hard-fought 49-39 victory over hosts South Africa.

Backed by a boisterous home crowd, the SPAR Proteas produced a sparkling third quarter to get to within three goals before Jade Clarke regained control for the visitors and they held on for the win.
