The College Valley & North Northumberland fixture at Alnwick was abandoned yesterday because of the state of the course, but there are no problems at this weekend's other nine meetings, writes Mick Connaughton.

The track at Alnwick has not recovered from its opening fixture and the College Valley has been postponed until Sunday, 10 March, with new entries.

Smart hunter-chaser Lord Harry, unlucky not to make a winning reappearance last month, when he jumped a path near the finish, has an easy opportunity in the men's open at Weston Park tomorrow.
