Bradford Bulls have rejected overtures from their neighbours, Bradford City, inviting them to share the City stadium at Valley Parade. The Bulls are still trying to finalise the funding for a redevelopment of their home at Odsal. The City chairman, Mark Lawn, said the money would be better spent improving Valley Parade for use by both clubs, calling that "the only sensible solution". But his Bulls counterpart, Peter Hood, said "Mr Lawn has got his facts badly wrong", and his club was committed to the concept of an Odsal Sporting Village.

Bradford refuse to accept they are to lose coach Steve McNamara to England. The Rugby League wants to unveil him tomorrow, but the Bulls say McNamara will front a press conference previewing Sunday's match against Hull KR at that time.
