Rio Ferdinand has responded to the picture of himself and 'his son' Drake in a Manchester United shirt that Hulk Hogan unknowingly retweeted yesterday, trolling Drake over the images of the rapper/singer wearing various kits over the years.

Hogan, who was sacked from the WWE last week after making alleged racist remarks, retweeted many pictures yesterday of people offering their support. The Hulkster, however, was completely oblivious to the fact that those pictures were pictures of black Premier League football players.

One of those pictures was from a Twitter user with the handle Monkey D. Jiggy, who posted to Hogan:

Mentioning this, the former Manchester United defender Ferdinand, who is now retired, posted on Instagram today with the caption: "My son's would never wear these kits... Their loyal to #MUFC...@champagnepapi (Drake) ain't mine," alongside a picture of the Canadian artist in Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea kits.

Only last month, Drake had pledged his allegiance to Chelsea, scoring a penalty past Didier Drogba.

After the audio clip of Hogan repeatedly using a racially derogative term, the WWE released the following statement having already cut him from the website and TV show Tough Enough.

“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”
