John Cairns-Hubbard, who won one England cap against Scotland in 1930 at full-back, has died aged 95. He played for Blackheath and Harlequins.

Twickenham is sold out for three of England's four autumn Test matches, guaranteeing more than pounds 7m in gate receipts. The games against Australia on 15 November, South Africa, the world champions, a fortnight later and New Zealand on 6 December will see Twickenham packed to its 75,000 capacity. England's fourth pre-Christmas international (against New Zealand at Old Trafford on 22 November) is also heading the same way. The remaining 7,000 tickets, costing pounds 28, are available on 0990 344444.
