Katrin Krabbe, the former world sprint champion, ends a three-year drugs ban today. She has said she would not compete again and would concentrate on motherhood and her modelling career. But her coach, Thorsten Heuser, believes she could change her mind.

Jonathan Edwards, the world triple jump record holder, will face Brian Wellman, of Bermuda, and Jerome Romain from the Dominican Republic, second and third behind Edwards at the recent World Championships, in the McDonald's Games at Crystal Palace on Sunday. Colin Jackson meets his successor as 110m hurdles world champion, Allen Johnson, while Sonia O'Sullivan, Ireland's 5,000m world champion, meets Britain's Paula Radcliffe, Yvonne Murray and Liz McColgan over 3,000m.
