Latecomers face fine

Northampton face a fine from the Football Association for arriving eight minutes late for their game at Wigan on Saturday. Just to compound their misery they had Danny O'Shea and Dean Peer sent off in a 2-1 defeat. Wigan's Kevin Sharp was also dismissed.

Sometimes, however, it is better not to arrive at all. Doncaster's Sammy Chung did for the home match with Carlisle United - only to find that he had been replaced as manager of the Third Division club by Kerry Dixon, the former Chelsea and England striker. It didn't prevent Doncaster losing 1-0, however.
