Lindsay still in contention
Maurice Lindsay, the rugby league supremo, has re-emerged as a contender for the post of chairman of the Tote after being interviewed by the Home Office for a second time.
That places him on a short-list of three for the job alongside Guy Watkins, the former chief executive of Hong Kong racing, and the long-time favourite for the role, Peter Jones.
