IF there was a medal for the unluckiest competitor at the Games, it would without doubt have been claimed by the Canadian boardsailor, Murray McCaig. While cycling through the Olympic Village on Sunday, he pulled out to overtake a bus but was hit by a police car going in the other direction. McCaig, who was left with a broken leg, had to pull out of the Games on the day before the regatta started.
