Double Olympic champion cyclists Laura Trott and Jason Kenny are an item, she confirmed today.
After the couple were pictured kissing last night while watching beach volleyball at Horse Guards Parade, Trott admitted they were dating.
The 20-year-old wrote on Twitter: "So yes its out there me and JasonKenny107 are dating. Been a little while now just didn't want the distraction before the games x."
Trott, from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, won team pursuit and omnium gold during the six-day London 2012 track programme at the Olympic velodrome. Kenny, 24, won team sprint and sprint golds, taking his Games gold medal haul to three.
Kenny, from Bolton, made his Olympic debut in Beijing, winning a gold and a silver medal, aged 20.
Last night the couple joined Prince Harry to watch the raucous finals of the women's beach volleyball, a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace.
The 27-year-old royal is one of the sport's best-known fans after he famously took part in an impromptu game in Rio de Janeiro during a visit to Brazil.
Footballer and Olympic ambassador David Beckham was also spotted among the spectators.
Harry, who was at the velodrome on Tuesday night to see Trott secure her second gold, was seen chatting and laughing with the cyclist.
