Williams home after 'amazing' Vancouver triumph
Amy Williams arrived back in London last night admitting her gold medal at the Vancouver Games felt "absolutely amazing".
Williams became Britain's first solo champion in 30 years when she won the skeleton event and the 27-year-old said: "It's hard to describe the feeling – it's absolutely amazing. I can't believe it's real having the gold medal around my neck. It was amazing to be part of Team GB. We were united and there was such a good vibe. We're upset it's finished, but it's nice to get back."
