Racing: Bookies so cautious

MISTERTOPOGIGO, second to Lochsong yesterday, may return to Goodwood on Saturday for the Stewards' Cup. Bookmakers certainly showed caution at the prospect, Ladbrokes cutting his odds from 12-1 to 5-1 favourite.

Ben Beasley, the Northern sprinter's trainer, must find a new jockey, however. Beasley's first and second choices, Alan Munro and Kevin Darley, will both be serving suspensions.

Richard Hannon, whose Desert Green won Goodwood's opening race, took the last too, with Twilight Patrol.
