John Dunlop yesterday confirmed that Erhaab will head for the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot, the colt's enthusiasm now restored after his surprise defeat in the Eclipse Stakes. The Arundel trainer revealed that little had gone to plan in the race in which his colt finished third to Ezzoud and Bob's Return. He reported that Erhaab may have slightly injured himself in the racecourse stables before the race. 'He had a bit of a hiccup in the stable yard where he nearly got loose. He may have wrenched himself in the stables but I wouldn't use that as an excuse. He was very sore but is OK now and we go again in the King George full of enthusiasm. I felt they went so fast in the Eclipse that he was sapped of strength. I am sure he didn't run his race because it was not run to suit him.'
