RISKY, the winner of Saturday's Weatherbys and Sales Super Sprint Trophy at Newbury, has been added to the list of attractions at Glorious Goodwood next week.

The filly has taken the Newbury race so well that connections are now seriously considering a tilt at the Molecomb Stakes on Friday week.

Once again ground conditions will determine whether the daughter of Risk Me, tackles the race.

'She is in tip-top order, as if she never had a race,' Eamonn Connolly, racing manager to Risky's owner, David Sullivan, said. 'She will run provided the ground is in her favour as a prelude to the Heinz '57' in Ireland. 'Richard Hannon thinks she still has an awful lot of petrol left in the tank and historically the Molecomb doesn't take much winning.'

The advance going at Goodwood, which is officially good, would satisfy Risky's connections and could also entice Zafonic, the meeting's biggest draw, to the Sussex Stakes.

As before Royal Ascot, the Zafonic team have stressed that the colt, who has not run since the 2,000 Guineas, must have good or faster ground if he is to run.

Johnnie Gilbert MBE, the former jump jockey, has died at his home in Newmarket, aged 72.
