Roberts became the latest leading rider to face a long absence from the saddle as a result of the injury he sustained in a fall after the second race at Sandown on thursday. "Michael will have an intermediate X-ray in two weeks and the main X-ray in four weeks. He's now looking to the end of August for his return," said his agent.

Nombre Premier and Sheer Reason may be best of the four home runners.
