A record number of entries in the eighth Henley Women's Regatta required qualifying races on Friday evening for the first time, before 249 races were held over the weekend. Here, Haberdashers (in the white) take on Shipley School, from the United States.
The women's national squad attended in force and certainly showed impressive form just a week before starting their Olympic bid at the Amsterdam regatta. Sue Appleboom, fighting for British selection in a scull this year, won the Henley lightweight sculls title for a record sixth time.
